DPH Scope of Work: The current COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a volume of data that is unprecedented for DPH and only expected to increase as COVID-19 testing increases. In less than nine months, almost 3,000,000 COVID-19 test results have been reported to DPH. To report these data in formats usable to stakeholders including the Office of the Governor, healthcare providers, and the public, large and complex datasets must be analyzed, summarized, and communicated. A critical need identified is an individual experienced in R to assist with developing and coordinating these analytic activities to ensure data can inform timely public health decision making; this includes detecting increases in cases, outbreaks, increases in hospitalizations and deaths, and tracking cases in vulnerable or high priority populations.
