This position will work closely with other fellow developers and business stake holders to support the design, development, testing, improvement, and maintenance of Classic and Lightning Salesforce environments. These environments have adopted workflows to operationalize and support DSPS complex credentialing, permitting, and inspection processes. This position will report to the DSPS IT Director and will be a member of the DOA DET DSPS Salesforce developer team. This position is collaborative, challenging, and rewarding and will work to enhance existing business functionality to deliver improved productivity and customer experiences. • Key Responsibilities: o Analyzes specifications, develops Salesforce functionality, and maintains that functionality in support of current and future business functions. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Works with third party packages that have been adopted to enable business processes in Salesforce. Communicates project updates, issues, and risks to team to ensure timelines are being maintained. Actively participates in issue review and resolution meetings with business and development teams. Identifies areas where improvements can be made to improve our products and work. Tracks productivity using project and issue management software. Top Skills: Requires a bachelors or associate degree in area of specialty or 2 - 3 years of experience in the field or a related area Build and support functionality using Salesforce developer tools including Apex Classes, Apex Triggers and Visual force to develop custom business logic. Build Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data-oriented analytics reports. Salesforce certification(s). Interact with Salesforce data integrations using Mulesoft with REST APIs. Learn Salesforce security configurations, including profiles and permission sets. Experience with Agile SCRUM methodology, sprint planning, work estimation, and team communications. Interact with third party vendors on service and support matters. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. Troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.
