Description The Jr. UAT Tester will create, prepare and implement system user acceptance reviews for designated healthcare products, platforms, and services. Responsible for primary development of testing strategies. Consults with users, providing advice and direction. Successful candidate must demonstrate independent judgment to perform complex analysis of business requirements and system specifications; lead and prioritize testing activities for projects involving onshore and offshore teams; execute test plans and scripts to facilitate complex testing activities; provide specific technical guidance on defects to product owners, business analyst and developers; and give direction to less experienced testers. Position will focus on: Test Planning and execution efforts for the healthcare supported changes on various projects Requirements understanding, hands on testing and issue identification, classification, resolution, and reporting. May lead and direct other testers and contractors on all the test coordination tasks on assigned efforts Coordinate efforts to communicate, resolve and retest all issues identified in the various projects Coordinate test execution with key areas needed for the testing effort May report status of testing issues to Project Team and Management Defect triage and test issue escalation Provide any identified training Test Planning and execution Required Qualifications Identifying acceptance Test Cases/Criteria from Design Documentation Creation of Test Scenarios/Test Cases Performance of UAT execution and Defect Reporting Documentation of defect management, regular project reports and controlled communication with business partners and developers to ensure all deliverables are achieved Experience with working in short sprints in an Agile SCRUM software development life cycle model; good understanding of Scrum processes, team structure and roles, core principles, tools (Version One, JIRA, Rally, Confluence or similar collaboration tools), and artifacts (Epics, Stories, Tasks) Ability to work closely with business counterparts ensuring requirements are fulfilled, allowing business partners to have confidence that testing is being performed to industry and group standards Healthcare Industry experience: claims, billing, enrollment, EDI, or Care or Medical Management Good communication and proficient with MS Suite products Desired Qualifications Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Strong knowledge of the QA Best Practices, Software Development Life Cycle, Methodology, Testing Standards, Test Processes, and Test Methods to validate and ensure the quality of software through testing. Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills Risk analysis and quantification experience Other Desired Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology and/or equivalent work experience Proven and consistent track record of delivering, supporting and testing projects which involve multiple work streams and a significant amount of risk, business, and technology change Successful at turning preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans, solutions, and test scripts Displays a strong drive for results and is able to overcome challenges and obstacles to deliver projects and testing on time, and with superior quality A good overall underst   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
