Using the Material-UI library and following Material design concepts, we have already built React web applications for segments of our customer population. However, we know there is room to improve what has been created so one objective is to have you evaluate what has already been built in order to offer suggested UI/UX improvements. As we are wanting to have a cohesiveness across our applications, we also want lessons learned in the evaluation of existing apps to help guide the UI/UX of those which will soon begin development. One of them is an external-facing web app which will serve our largest customer segment while the other will be for our internal staff and will be a web app replacement for a Windows fat client. Requirements • Established portfolio demonstrating user-centric designs for responsive web applications • Experience designing in a collaborative, Agile environment • Ability to prototype design ideas for customer feedback sessions • Expert knowledge of current and upcoming web application design trends • Experience leading design walkthroughs and feedback sessions which include technical and non-technical participants • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS Responsibilities • Work closely with business analysts, developers and key stakeholders using participatory, collaborative and iterative design techniques • Be a UX evangelist, helping people understand the value of having a UX design focus • Offer compelling reasons for all design decisions and show how honing good design can dramatically increase the quality of the user experience • Educate management on good design principals and standards • Train web application developers on how they can apply a “designers eye” when developing applications • Create flowcharts, mock-ups, prototypes, etc. which will help team visualize ideas • Perform rapid visualization using sketches, paper and whiteboard prototyping, story boarding, etc. • Work with creative team on custom assets as needed   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
