Complete Description: It is looking for a BSC with extensive experience and strengths in software development and business process re-engineering. The Business Systems Consultant serves as the lead business analyst for multiple projects involving critical data processing systems for the New Jersey Judiciary. The BSC should have excellent communication, in both verbal and written. The ideal candidate would also have experience as a business analyst in PEGA based systems. Role: The BSC will work as the lead liaison between IT and business user. The BSC will be responsible for requirements gathering, documentation, backlog management and other related tasks. The BSC is expected to work among stakeholder in order to understand policies, operation of an organization or program and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. - In-depth analysis of source systems. - Identification and documentation of business/system requirements into complete SCRUM user stories - Requirements gathering using diverse means - Wide degree of creativity and initiative is expected - Documentation via Visio diagrams business processes (new or old) - Documentation of UI/UX - Conducting gap analysis of existing business processes and propose changes to gain efficiencies and/or automation - Conducting gap analysis of existing information management system(s) and propose changes to gain efficiencies or to propose replacement of existing information management system(s) - Present and elaborate on their deliverables - Understand the business vision and translates to solutions - Proactively identifies and mitigates risk to projects - Coordination of meetings with stakeholders, project manager and/or development team - Mentor team members - Project Manager experience a plus Qualifications: - Must be able to perform the role of SCRUM master - Must be able to independently create SCRUM user stories - Must be able to independently maintain product backlog - Must be able to perform sprint planning - Must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to collaborate with internal and external groups including vendors. - Must be able to gather information systems requirements via diverse means - Must have the ability of working independently and with minimal supervision - Must be able to work on multiple projects in parallel - Wide degree of creativity and initiative is expected Skills Required: - Excellent communication in both verbal and written - Business processes re-engineering - SCRUM/Agile Methodology processes and best practices - Software Development Lifecycle - Analyzing and documenting complex business processes and workflows - Requirements gathering via diverse means (e.g. interviews, observation, surveys, existing documentation, etc.) - Creation of storyboards, screen mockups, wireframes, interfaces, use cases, process flows and business rules - UI/UX - Perform gap analysis - Microsoft Visio - HP UFT Suite Responsibilities: The BSC will be responsible for the development and documentation of business requirements, SCRUM user stories, storyboards, screen mockups, wireframes, interfaces, use cases, process flows and business rules.
