Develops software deployment scripts to be used in deployment tools to install software across the enterprise. Primary Responsibilities: • Performs enterprise wide deployments of third party and software across multiple platforms. • Evaluates deployment requests when assigned. Analyzes requirements and plans deployment method. • Creates medium to high level complexity customer requested packages and deployment scripts as per documented requirements. • Coordinates Unit, Regression, QA, Production deployments with developers to meet the needs of the business using software deployment tools. • Attains appropriate sign off from requestor when required and adhere to the SDLC. Required Experience: • 2-5 + years of experience in the following operating systems: Unix\AIX, MS Windows, MS Sharepoint, .NET, IBM WebSphere, IBM WebSphere Portal, WebMethods • 5-7+ years of IT experience, including application development, software packaging deployment, Change Management, or related software engineering experience. • Off-shift and weekend coverage required. • 2-5+ years of experience with UNIX, DOS, or .NET Shell scripting used in combination with UrbanCode Deploy. Knowledge of Bamboo and TFS desired. Preferred Experience: • Bachelors degree in computer related field or 5-7+ years experience in IT and in application related technologies including software packaging, software deployment, or related software engineering experience, coupled with strong SDLC concepts. • Ability to establish priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously • Strong analytical skills ADP or equivalent certification preferred, or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
