Expected Responsibilities: * Perform complex analysis, design, programming and modifications of computer programs for software * Write detailed specifications; write code, complete programming, testing and debugging of applications * Document forms, procedures and other documentation needed for the installation and maintenance of application programs * May be required to be on-call * Ability to explain concepts with technical and non-technical staff * Works effectively with all co-workers; team player * Communicates effectively and in a professional manner * May provide technical and project leadership and assist in training less experienced analysts/programmers * Assigned work involves broad range of complex design and programming * Provides input to technology strategy * Ability to meet heavy deadlines and may be subject to heavy workloads Technical Skills and Experience: * Prior experience in a Java development team environment, typically 5 or more years professional experience * Experience working in both Windows and UNIX environments * Spring and/or Struts frameworks * Oracle and PL/SQL experience * Web Services, AJAX and MQ Messaging a plus * Solid understanding and experience in full SDLC process * Understanding of Agile project methodology with the ability to contribute and participate Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written This is a long term consulting opportunity with extension possibilities.
