Setup, configuration, and installation of equipment and software. · Extensive knowledge of IBM Websphere product line, Unix (AIX) platform, and Storage Area Network technologies (IBM DS8000 series, SVC, and Fabric). · Individual should be competent in the administration of UNIX systems for the purposes of installing, patching, and upgrading system hardware and software. · Senior level UNIX experience. Configuration of IBM p-series hardware for creation of Logical Partitions (LPARs) and Virtual IO Servers (VIOS). · Experience in the building of new systems from the ground up. · Experience with UNIX security measures for the protection of data and system resources. · Experience with the configuration of high-availability UNIX solutions. · Understanding of SAN designs and benefits of shared resources within a cluster. · Knowledge of enterprise backup solutions and off-site vaulting. · Experience planning for disaster recovery and recovery of data due to user error. · Experience with enterprise monitoring applications and alerting of system administrators via redundant paging systems. · Ability to write UNIX shell scripts.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
