The UX Specialist will be expected to work with DOAS IT and Communications teams to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing. Additionally, the UX Specialist will play a vital role in developing a comprehensive strategy to enhance user engagement and experiences throughout the customer lifecycle. Responsibilities: • Assist in the development and execution of UXO strategies with the goal of improving customer service and engagement rates and increasing conversion rates and revenue for specific DOAS lines of business. • Consult and collaborate with cross-functional DOAS teams to create industry leading experiences that deliver value to our employees and customers across five lines of business. • Work with customers and stakeholders to understand detailed requirements to create a complete user experience that meets DOAS customers needs and vision. • Develop user research plans, track, and utilize feedback to monitor and develop action plans to gain a deep understanding of DOAS users. • Collaborate with DOAS IT and Communications teams to make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features. • Apply design standards, industry guidelines, and best practices to ensure designs and content are usable and accessible. • Assist with designing and developing artifacts that include personas, journey maps, user workflows, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. • Monitor and compile reports using analytics, search engine optimization, benchmarking and tracking for analysis and planning. • Contribute to DOASs optimization processes, tools and strategies to increase efficiencies and results. • Identify design challenges and collaborate with DOAS IT and Communications teams to identify solutions. Requirements: • Bachelors degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Service Design, Communication Design, or Computer Science. • Five (5) years or more of relevant work experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with search engine optimization and additional experience with Google Optimize and/or other testing platforms. • Strong grasp of UX and UI standards. • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. • Digital portfolio or work examples preferred.
