Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Education/Experience - minimum 2-year technical degree and at least 4 years experience and/or 4-year Bachelors Degree and at least 3 years experience in any of the following fields: Information technology, computer science, or engineering. Having certifications in Oracle Solaris and Red Hat is preferred. PREFERRED SKILLS: * Knowledge of Oracle Solaris and X86 server level hardware. * Current expertise/formal training in Oracle Solaris and Red Hat linux administration. * Demonstrated knowledge of Apache/Tomcat software. * Demonstrated knowledge of Hardware RAID configuration. * Demonstrated knowledge of SAN configuration for OS. * Technical knowledge of SAN infrastructure. * Ability to write and speak effectively * Hands on system maintenance experience; including the ability to install patches/software and enhancements. OTHER SKILLS: * Ability to work afterhours to perform system maintenance, as required (Usually once a month, but adjusted as needed to meet business goals) * Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment * Ability to document work and processes * Ability to research problems and present solutions * Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor * Ability to handle high customer demands.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
