Quality Center/Performance Center Administrator provides administrative, consulting, and technical support to IT and business staff in the configuration and use of QC for requirements, tests, and defect management. Support encompasses the project lifecycle as well as maintenance of production systems, upgrades and migration of existing ALM versions Scope of Services (Identify specific activities that must be performed to produce the project deliverables) HP ALM Tools Production and Stage Environment Management Linux/Databases deployment and engineering of HP Software tools for testing and automation. Shell Scripting and build scripts and preparing packaging. System metrics, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Consult with IT and business staff to troubleshoot and resolve all ALM issues. Setup and administration of HP Testing Tools like UFT, ALM - Quality Center, Performance Center, Service Test, BluePrint etc. Integrate QC with other applications/tools. Writing PL/SQL stored procedures as necessary to create desired ad-hoc reports. Troubleshooting user issues and work with customers through resolution of error. Performing in-depth analysis for upgrades. Interfacing with HP as needed. Apply creative thinking and negotiation skills to develop solutions that are acceptable to a variety of users with potentially different needs. Develop and provide user training for QC navigation and applications (Requirements, Test Plan, Test Lab, Defects) Support multiple ongoing projects. Developing and supporting standard metrics reports, dashboards and other internal and external reports as requested. Work with the various teams to produce advanced metrics and reporting capabilities Keeping abreast of vendor and Quality Assurance technologies and standards Maintaining ALM Project Templates & providing best practice guidance for test management within ALM. Creating workflow code and VB Scripting. Upgrade of Performance Center to version 11.x. Support Performance Center (HPPC) users with user provisioning, customer assistance, and troubleshooting.
