Clearly and concisely document current and future workflows. Maintain ample documentation on all work. Design efficient, modular, and maintainable solutions to complex data transformation problems. Model and rapid prototype potential solutions in various mediums such as Visio/Excel/World/Access/SQL/VBA to demonstrate and represent proposals. Become an SME for the data engineer(s); provide concise business and technical specifications. Collaborate with data engineer(s) to define pragmatic strategic designs and process architecture. Test, identify, track, and report on bugs. Provide regression testing. Serve as de-facto Project Coordinator and facilitate meetings and agendas. Create flow diagrams, wireframes, and mocks-ups as required. Provide quick and effective data analysis through excel and SQL. Report up to stakeholders and provide weekly status and progress updates. Requirements 7+ years of experience as a business analyst in Fin-Tech with a solid understanding of financial modeling. Past work in research or data collection areas is a huge plus. 7+ years of proficiency with standard suite of data and business analysis tools including advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA, SQL, PowerPoint, and Visio or related Diagraming tools.
