Job Description Engineer: VCenter, PL/SQL, Windows 2008 R2, san EMC

*** Experis has an immediate opening for a IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER Consultant with experience in Windows Server 2008 R2 and VMware to work on the Server Build Team for our client in Cleveland, Ohio ***

* Minimum 4 years of recent systems engineering experience in configuration, deployment, and support of an enterprise virtual server and storage environment.

* Must have experience with Windows 2008 R2 and VMware server virtualization build, configuration, and support experience.
* The successful candidate will be someone whos highly proficient in the Windows Server and VMware virtualization environments, MS Server platform and VMWare experience is required.
* Experience with EMC (SAN storage provider) is preferred.
* Experience with Windows server builds in the VM environment (i.e., vCenter, vSphere) is required.
* Must have experience with building Microsoft O/S with VMware.
* Additional experience includes provisioning storage, server hardening, application configuration, security, and providing release to production support documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others at all levels.
*Strong technical aptitude and proven analytical skills are required.
* Must be able to understand and work with internal project-level documentation, project deliverable deadlines, attend project meetings, and participate in any project planning meetings.
*Proven application of industry-standards, methodology, and terminology relating to Windows server systems, virtualization, and storage.
*Strong technical knowledge in Windows 2008 R2/2012, high availability clustering, IIS, Active Directory services, server networking technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, VLANs, high availability networking), Windows Support tools, and Windows SCCM provisioning and software distribution environments.
*Strong technical VMware knowledge in ESXi, vCenter, Update Manager, P2V converter, VMware networking, and VMware PowerCLI.
- Strong technical EMC storage provisioning experience in both SAN and NAS environments is preferred.
- Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and problem solving issues.
- Ability to coach, mentor, negotiate and influence others.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
