Looking for a Citrix professional with at least 5 years experience in managing and supporting Citrix XenApp 7.15 in an Azure hosted IaaS environment, this person will be responsible for VDI end-user support and resolution of support tickets and issues, they should possess the skills to quickly come up to speed to support the current environment and day to day responsibilities, the right candidate should also be familiar with Azure and the processes associated with adding and removing VMs, looking for a self-starter who is able to work with minimal direction. Responsibilities day to day VDI end-user support issues to resolution Management and functionality of the VDI infrastructure servers. Windows OS patching and XenApp patching (if applicable) of the VDI infrastructure servers (development and production) Windows OS patching of all VDI hosted shared desktop servers (development and production) Follow change management process for VDI environment changes, including server decommissions. Escalate and work directly with Citrix and Microsoft support when needed for VDI problem resolution of any kind.
