Job Description Administrator: Citrix XenServer, VMware 4/5., VDI, Citrix XenDesktop Windows Server HP Blad

Experis is actively seeking an experienced Windows/Citrix Systems Administrators for an opportunity in Oakbrook, IL. This role will allow you to work in a 24x7x365 enterprise environment and our client is adding a person for their 3rd shift team. This is a contract position with an initial engagement of 6 months and a strong possibility for extension.

Hours are as follows:
3rd Shift - Monday thru Friday (12am-9am)

This position will be a level two technical support position and will take action on any alerts generated in the associated technologies. Specifically, this role will be responsible for break/fix, hardware replacement, configurations of base OS and associated applications as well as monitoring analytics associated with the core technologies. Individual must be a team player, but capable of working independently to solve level 2 issues that may arise.

Job Requirements (must have operational level knowledge)

3-5 year of experience in the following technologies

Server side virtualization Citrix XenServer, Vmware
VDI Citrix XenDesktop
Windows 2003 and 2008 R2 Server
HP Blade Servers and associated Chassis support
Server patching (OS and App)
