Works as part of the Citrix Engineering team to further stabilize and optimize the current Citrix environment while also helping to prepare, test and migrate to the new farm. Acting as an escalation point for level 2 & 3 Citrix Administrators and helpdesk, assists with troubleshooting and user problem resolution as needed. Creates and maintains needed documentation and consistently looks for improvement opportunities. Strive to deliver the best possible solution by participating in the quality review of products and services by the reviewing of logs and monitoring tools while also collecting user feedback. Candidate will have strong experience supporting IT infrastructure, with emphasis on: Detecting, diagnosing, and resolving system issues arising within the infrastructure including Citrix PVS, MCS, StoreFront, XenApp, XenDesktop, Delivery Controllers and Remote Endpoints. Build and configure Citrix servers following defined standards, security guidance, or, with guidance/direction from senior technical personnel. Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of Citrix servers. Maintain / Update Windows 10 VDI images in accordance with corporate standards Package and deploy standard corporate applications to Citrix based VDI images Review existing technology implementations with the Citrix Architect and suggest and implement improvements and upgrades. Provides guidance to change management for changes related to Citrix infrastructure Ensure high availability and high-performance enterprise across the Citrix Delivery Platform. Published desktop and application support, maintenance and patch upgrades Thin client deployments and support Responsible for all Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix servers. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate. Improve efficiencies to reduce costs. Qualifications 6+ years experience in Citrix, VMware, and Windows environment. Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop Windows Client Operating System Image Creation / Deployment (Windows 10 preferred) Windows Application Packaging, Workstation Imaging / Image Maintenance XenDesktop, Web Interface, StoreFront, EdgeSight, Citrix Printing NetScaler, PVS Skilled in documentation creation – both of a technical nature and for end user.
