The Worker will apply their expert knowledge of RRC agency mainframe related application systems to support the needs of an internal ITS development project team. • Meeting with the business and information technology team to understand the existing applications, and the required enhancements • Design, develop, and enhance systems and build stability into the application infrastructure • Participate in requirements gathering sessions • Create technical design documents and specifications • Develop programs in COBOL • Perform unit and system testing • Support the users in acceptance testing • Work with the IT team to move the system into production • Create necessary system documentation Preferred • Experience developing application using COBOL 390 • Experience developing applications using the relational IMS database • Experience developing SQL scripts and queries • Mainframe knowledge in JCL, CICS, VSAM, and TSO • Extensive experience with RRC Oil & Gas systems required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
