Job Description : Telecom Engineer!! The AV Systems Engineer is responsible for the system engineering (from design to final commissioning) of A/V and video projects. The position requires understanding customer requirements, developing solutions, and working with installers to configure and install AV solutions on time and on budget. This position is also responsible for the support of all AV rooms, video broadcasting and video conferencing systems (including hardware and server/technology infrastructure). Responsibilities: • Responsible for designing and installing A/V room systems solutions using Controls Systems like Crestron, Audio DSP technologies like Biamp and Polycom (phone/video) and Skype video conferencing systems. • Ability to assess customer needs, develop solutions, and create schematics and engineering drawings • Ability to keep track of deadlines for multiple projects and provide advice, guidance and subject matter expertise to ensure that schedule, performance, and budget targets are met • Manage the relationship with vendors, including contract negotiations, quotes, invoicing, onsite support, incident resolution, and escalating issues that require immediate resolution • Create engineering documentation such as bills of materials, infrastructure drawings and connection diagrams • Troubleshoot, repair, and determine root cause analysis for conference room A/V and VTC issues Qualification: • 3-5 years experience in an audio visual design engineer role • Prior experience as an installer, programmer, or project manager preferred • Computer/networking experience • Ability to adapt to change, and manage multiple priorities • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills • Strong diagnostic and trouble shooting skills.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
