Understand the business needs of the project and its interaction with other projects/programs to make decisions that are in the best interest of the organization Job Requirements 5+ years financial services desired (preferably life and annuity) 5+ years experience managing cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment desired Bachelors degree Skilled in multiple project management methodologies (e.g. agile, waterfall) desired Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) Ability to manage established deadlines; must be a self-starter and be able to work independently as well as being a team player Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational skills a must Must be action and results oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex subject matter Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or working towards it.
