Job Description: Position: Sr. Data Analyst Location: Waltham, MA (candidates can sit remote) Duration: 1+ year Our Client is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to join their team on a long term basis. Key Accountabilities 1. Analyze and monitor all related application/data to make sure everything is working correctly and properly and updated when needed. 2. Act as the data lead for the area of focus on data which is not limited to data quality, access to data, and data security and able to relay to our Clients Business/Process Leads the data issue at hand and its remediation 3. Ensure the data change process is followed for the data area while partnering with our Clients data governance team, the data owners, and the end-to-end data lifecycle 4. Capture the data requirements for the functionalities for the data conversions and the data quality of the area of focus 5, Coordinate with deployment team and the governance on the prioritization of the fixes/issues/defects and enhancements/new capabilities 6. Properly train the area of focus in utilizing Informatica Data Quality scorecards/PowerBI 7. Own and manage data validation processes, resolve weaknesses and manage risks while managing the IT stakeholders and the Business stakeholders 8. Ensure all the data artifacts for the areas are up to date (Data Catalog, Data Business Rules Dictionary, Asset Specs, Asset Classifications, Domains, and Measurements). 9. Lead and support to gather functional data requirements for your focused area 10. Establish and lead Data Governance for your focused area 11. Establish basic data standards 12. Establish and execute basic enterprise-wide governance for your area of focus 13. Ensure a robust and sustainable set of access controls are in place 14. Update the data catalog, meta-data, and business glossary 15. Audit compliance with respect to data management BMS standards including data privacy / data protection 16. Establish and execute basic enterprise-wide governance for your area of focus 17. Document the data life-cycle processes, identify and fill gaps 18. Provide visibility to stakeholders of available data within the organization and more specifically your area of focus 19. Lay foundations for a digitally enabled organization Required Skills: 1. SQL 2. Data remediation/data quality management 3. PowerBI scorecard 4. Visio process mapping 5. Cloud (preferably Azure) 6. GIS Systems (Prefer knowledge of ArcGIS, ESRI, Lemur) 7. Data Quality (Prefer Einstein Analytics, Informatica) 8. Systems programming (Prefer SQL, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), PowerBI), Databases (Maximo databases) 9. Applications (Salesforce, Field Service Lightning, Maximo) 10. Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred with 8 years of related experience or Masters degree in a Quantitative Domain with 6+ years related work experience Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role): 1.
