The operating system is a Windows CE 5.0 and CE 6.0. We require custom functions that will: allow the scanner to connect to a hidden Wi-Fi network (using WPA2 security with AES encryption); allow the scanner to connect to a shared folder on a desktop computer on the LAN; allow the scanner to disconnect from the Wi-Fi network. We would like this application written in either Visual Basic or C# and be compatible with Visual Studio 2005 or 2008. We already use custom-built applications on the scanners for employees to perform inventory counts. This application is written in Visual Basic and compiled with Visual Studio 2005. We have not been able to migrate this application to a later version of Visual Studio because later versions do not appear to support the Smart Device platform. Agency Expected Deliverables We need three (3) functions: 1. A function that connects to a hidden Wi-Fi network. It will accept two (2) parameters: SSID and password. 2. A function that disconnects from the Wi-Fi network. 3. A function that connects to a shared folder on a LAN computer. It will accept four (4) parameters: a path to shared folder (e.g. \\computername\sharename), username, password, and domain. These functions must be written in Visual Basic or C# and must be compatible with Visual Studio 2005/2008 for Windows CE devices.
