The EPMO Project Manager will report into IT Gov Office Manager but will be directly supporting Governors Office projects and the Governors Office Technology Manager on these projects. Project Management responsibilities include; ***This will be a onsite position in downtown Richmond VA. Contract company please note parking will be responsible for the consulting firm. • Managing all aspects of complex, large-scale, and/or high priority projects throughout the project lifecycle to ensure they are completed on time and within budget • Define, document, and manage project scope, schedule and budgets • Develop, maintain, and distribute standard project management artifacts (i.e. WBS, risk assessments, project charter, RACIs, communication plan, MS schedule, status reports, etc.) • Ensure applicable project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately • Align project deliverables and milestones with departments strategy and objectives • Facilitate project meetings, create and distribute meeting notes • Manage projects within the EPMO framework, process, and structure, and begin to promote Agile, building out those processes and skill sets at the Governors Office • Manage projects within the EPMO, VITA procurement, and security governance processes • Keep leadership and the EPMO informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or results • Utilize Agile Kanban Facilitate project conference calls, status meetings, planning sessions, and provide for meeting notes • Be a consultant to customers and communicate project status throughout the project lifecycle • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues • Manage project resources, overseeing day-to-day task execution Utilizing system based project management applications; CTP, Planview   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
