Its pretty standard Warehousing work, so experience in that area would be great. And it will follow the standard SDLC that all BSCs should be pretty familiar with. The overview of a typical activity would be as follows: This role will serve as a coordinator for single source data acquisition projects. Once that source is complete, they will move on to the next source. This position will work with business partners to understand requirements, work with the discovery team to understand the data, work with developers to execute on the ETL, work with QA to validate the work (or more likely actually perform the testing), support business partners in UAT, and finally work with offshore production support to ensure successful production implementation. Responsibilities will include managing to the project plan, ensuring all appropriate documentation is complete and accurate, communicating issues or timeline changes to management, ensuring effective communication across all groups. The ability to read and write SQL and understanding of relational databases will be critical.
