Job Duties End to End implementation of Enterprise VoIP provisioning flows across multiple applications. Develop Java based tools to automatically resolve the activation fallout where possible. Develop Java based activation services to support new VoIP service offerings. Experience driving calls with enterprise architects, business owners & multiple IT teams to gain agreement on optimal approach. Analyze the Vendor APIs and specifications for provisioning soft switch and other VoIP network elements utilizing JAVA, Multi-Threading, Oracle SQL tuning to ensure most optimal performance Analyze production issues and provide quick solutions; Provide support for various production releases and manage release pipeline through scheduling, content prioritization, documentation and deployment support Gather and analyze business and develop system requirements (SREQs) through client interaction Manage multiple concurrent work request; debug, test and document IT programs Coordinate system test and user acceptance test; provide guidance, oversight and assignment to global team members. Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline Skills Required: 8-10 years overall experience in OOA/OOD, Java, J2EE technologies, including but not limited to: JDBC, EJB, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, XML & XSLT 6+ years experience with Oracle Weblogic Server, Web Services or equivalent (like IBM Websphere), that includes installation, deployment, trouble shooting and monitoring J2EE applications 6+ years experience with Oracle RDBMS using SQL, stored procedures and triggers 6+ years of hands-on experience in UNIX/LINUX/Solaris environment and related utilities including shell scripts. Ability to quickly perform proof-of-concepts for validating new technology or approach Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating exceptional analytical thinking, adaptability, multi-tasking, enthusiasm and motivation Ability to co-ordinate between onshore and global offsite teams with experience in generating daily/weekly/monthly metrics of offshore SDLC to demonstrate quality/efficiency of offshore delivery. Ability to identify and work on eliminating bottlenecks in offshore delivery process proactively to ensure committed projects are delivered on time/budget. Exposure to performance tuning tools, release management, version control system, bug tracking tool will be a plus Telecom domain exposure including ordering, inventory, provisioning and billing modules is a plus.
