Experience in Java development including J2EE , Spring, Hibernate, EJB3, JMS, Servlets, JDBC, XML, Hibernate, JAX-RPC & JAX-WS and JUnit Object-oriented design and development skills, including design patterns and UML modeling Java web application frameworks like JSF, Struts or Spring MVC Database development ( MySQL, SQL, JDBC) Is results oriented Adapts quickly to new product and process Web UI development (DHTML/CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Flash) Experience with MySQL, Linux EXTRA CREDIT: The following skills and experience are not required but would count for some serious extra credit in the selection process. Strong experience with J2EE architecture framework design and development with EJB development experience with: Mbean core technology JTA transaction creation, start, pause, commit, and roll-back Hibernate and JPA association and utilization of the JPA entity manager Web Services communication with the business logic via JNDI Cross-platform and cross-browser Ajax and Web 3.0 techniques Network programming and troubleshooting (especially HTTP/HTTPS, etc.) Browser plug-in development Cross-platform development experience (i.e. Windows, Mac and Linux) Experience with digital media (audio, video, DRM) and/or Rovi technology   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
