The chosen individual must be able to maintain and add value to a large-scale international high-frequency data system using an SQL back-end, as well as lead the maintenance and development of iSimulate a collaborative economic simulation and forecasting tool written using the PHP-based Symfony framework and a SQL backend REQUIRED SKILLS: Excellent knowledge of .NET technologies and ability to maintain and enhance a standalone desktop software application written in VB.NET which sits between Eviews databases and a variety of data visualization frontends. Experience in Multi-tier Architecture development using Web Services ,WCF, ADO.Net, ADO.Net Entity Framework, NHibernate, LINQ, and IIS. Good experience in database design and development in writing SQL Queries. Good working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and related open source web development technologies. Experience using the Symfony PHP framework and the ExtJS/Sencha JavaScript toolkit , High charts and .Net charting tools is a plus. Experience in Troubleshooting and debugging .NET applications in Windows/ Web application. Experience with source repository tools TFS, Visual Source Safe, SVN. Proven experience in systems design and solid understanding of development, database design, testing, and integration methodologies. Demonstrated experience developing logical data models for moderately complex databases strongly desired.
