Participate in all phases of the software development cycle. The resource will be responsible for software engineering for new and existing products and works with the entire project team to ensure development conforms to performance optimization and interoperability standards and requirements. Working with DOT staff, this individual will: Plan: Assist solution architects in translating requirements into technical specifications and data models for assigned project and work efforts. Consult with IT staff on incorporating new technology standards into project. Required Skills: * Experience in developing SOA-based enterprise solutions using: BizTalk, C#/ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript * Experience in developing XML Schemas and Namespaces * Experience in developing business rules and invocation of business rules from web services * Strong knowledge and understanding of web services design and development patterns * Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server 2008, 2012) and data extraction tools (PL/SQL) * Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Object Oriented Design, Application Testing, User Interface Testing, Enterprise level SOA based programming * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills * Extensive knowledge and fluent in developing WCF (WSI-compliant) Web Services * Experience in developing BizTalk Orchestrations and Itineraries * Understanding of and some experience with SQL Server SSIS, MDS, DQS Desired skills: * Understanding of data modeling and entity relationship models * Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs * Experience with Powershell   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
