The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades technologist a combination of Application Development with Infrastructure/Middleware support experience with the ability to pick up new skills quickly. Supporting a federal agencys O&M and technical transformation of an enterprise wide Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) imaging-based citizen engagement system. This position will lead a team who will provide O&M and system enhancement support. This position is in Alexandria, VA and may require some travel to client site in Washington DC. Responsibilities: Work with the customer to understand what is needed for O&M tasks for the system and target what comments would need to be enhance to increase the performance and scalability of the system. Work across functional (development/testing, deployment, systems/infrastructure) and project teams to ensure system sustainment efforts are executed properly Automate wherever feasible Proactively communicate with the team Proactively seek opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project life-cycle Qualifications: 6-8 years of overall technical experience and 4 years of recent hands-on system engineering and sustainment experience Deep knowledge of WebLogic, integrating Oracle Technologies, Microsoft Infrastructure. Experience with virtualize systems (VMWare) and infrastructure Experience with integrating COTS tools with customize applications Familiarity with .Net, .dll, and ActiveX technologies Familiarity with unit testing and code-coverage tools Familiarity with static code analysis tools, functional test automation techniques Education Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline is desired Clearance United States Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance is required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
