Java Developer - Thousand Oaks, California Required Skills: - Bachelors degree (computer science, information systems or related discipline) - The position requires a combination of technical and business analysis skills. - 6+ years of Java/REST programming/application development experience is required. - Experience with UNIX scripting. - Familiarization with XML and Relational databases. The Software Development Engineer will work with various stakeholders to define and implement an Enterprise Entitlement Services Test Application. The Software Development Engineer will work with the Enterprise IS Technology Services team on developing processes as part a DCO Data Center Security Design and planned mobile security architecture and design. This includes proposed Authentication and Authorization design with a focus on XACML based externalized authorization that integrates into access control functions performed by an XML FW, App FW and DB FW. In addition the XACML based externalized authorization decision engine can integrate into a NG Network. The Software Development Engineer will be a part of our project team and will be expected to contribute to and help deliver services as provided by the project scope. Job Responsibilities: The role will be part of the EISTS team responsible for delivering development test applications in coordination with a project currently in progress. This position will focus on EES policies and associated technologies. Areas of responsibility include: - Analyzing business requirements and developing EES policies using XACML language, based on the business requirements. - Helping application teams install and deploy the EES client API (Java, C# and Perl versions are available). - Making enhancements to the EES client APIs as required to meet business or audit requirements - Configuring default provisioning workflows in Request Management Tool (RMT), - Coordinating custom workflows with RMT team, identifying enhancements to the EES product. - Providing general technical support for the product. - Provide comprehensive consultation to business units and IT management and staff at the highest technical level. - Additionally, you will research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations on improving the product to meet business and information risk requirements. - Evaluate service level issues and suggested enhancements to diagnose and address underlying system problems and inefficiencies. - Participate in full development lifecycle activities for the product (coding, testing, release activities). - Develop business cases and presentations on information security technologies - Provide mentorship throughout the client site on technical subjects in the relevant technical domain - Escalate as appropriate problems and issues to management - Use of appropriate computer applications and tools to collect, develop, analyze and process data to report on and achieve departmental goal   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
