The User Experience Designer will provide architecture, design, support, administration, configuration, and development using SharePoint and .Net. Strong Information Architecture and search background is needed. Need Responsive Design for mobile and XSLT for mobile devices. S/he will contribute both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. A strong candidate will also have experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment and a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies. Duties and Responsibilities: Meet and collaborate with clients to identify business, information architecture, and user requirements. Bring strong creative, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction and design solutions. Access data from multiple sources (product requirements, technology constraints, UX research, web analytics, etc.) and synthesize it in order to develop efficient user scenarios, taxonomies, classification schemes, navigation systems, design patterns, etc. Recommend and execute modifications to the SharePoint environment in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance. Apply knowledge of usability, human factors, and the UX process to complete user experience of the product. Create and effectively present UX deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, etc.) to explain and negotiate design solutions to key stakeholders. Develop and deliver front-end design assets (graphics, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XAML, MasterPages, etc.) Lead, coordinate, and participate in key process improvements as they relate to the SharePoint environment, .net applications, etc. Help define UX performance metrics and perform post-development usability testing to validate business needs and user goals. Create, maintain, and share project documentation and UX guidelines. After hours on-call support is required. Build rapid interactive prototypes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor (4-year) degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Must have skills to develop responsive visual designs, wireframes/prototypes, and applications that are engaging, user friendly and adhere to brand, style, and platform guidelines. Experience in the .Net or SharePoint platforms using design, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and related tools (e.g., Adobe Creative suite, JQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap, etc.,) to develop Windows and iOS based applications is required. Experience using SharePoint Designer and deploying solutions. Experience designing search interfaces for search-driven applications. Working knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and XSLT. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to reach goals. Demonstrated ability to relate to all levels of the user community, translate technical language to lay audiences. Experience in requirements gathering, extraction, and documentation. Ability to set and manage priorities to ensure that project deadlines are met. Strong understanding of user-centric and responsive design principles. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to provide effective customer service.
