Maintains data storage and access by evaluating, designing, and implementing database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams, and documents the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions. This work encompasses several duties and responsibilities, including: • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data • Create data quality metrics and reports for internal teams • Define key performance indicators to track operational process performance and apply data mining, analysis, and visualization for KPI reporting • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business metrics and measurements • Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to more complex statistical analysis • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings • Present data in a way that is understandable to those with limited data knowledge or experience • Build source system data ETL processes, verify data accuracy, design of complex interactions between data fields within the client solution • Innovate new ways of validating data • Establish and maintain a set of processes and controls aimed at ensuring data quality and integrity issues are surfaced and addressed on an ongoing basis • Work closely with members of the business team to surface and address data quality issues • Identify, investigate, and manage the resolution and escalation of data quality issues • Coordinate and lead regular and ongoing data quality audits • Address the root cause of data problems and develop a recommendation on how to resolve them. Partner with data source stakeholders to implement the resolution • Analyze and validate data completeness, consistency, accuracy, and compliance with data standards and principles • Perform data profiling activities (in conjunction with the business data team) to ensure completeness and accuracy relative to the datas quality specifications. • Perform analysis of data sources with an emphasis on identifying critical data elements and developing data metrics and quality checks • Investigate, evaluate, and analyze current data requirements and processes effectiveness and efficiency and develop strategies for improving these processes. • Work with business representatives to elicit use of data and business rules • Perform data profiling tasks on existing data to prepare for data cleansing and data migration activities • Consolidate data analyses in support of data strategy and data governance documentation in association with the DWC Program Data Architect • Implement data quality monitoring reports, alerts, and processes • Benchmark and improve data quality from all data sources • Design-build and maintain ETL feeds for new and existing data sources • Ensuring ongoing accuracy of data ETL feeds, monitoring for changes in source systems • Per solution requirements, build appropriate linkages and relationships between data fields and the data w   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
