This Business Analyst/Consultant III should have Electronic Medical Record experience, as well as experience working with health system data dictionaries and experience working with community behavioral health providers. 1. Perform Behavioral Health Technology Scan, which focuses on those behavioral health providers who wont be using the OWITS EHR. Contractor will work to understand the provider data architecture and their ability to generate the required interface data file from their existing system. This also includes identifying data warehouse requirements, how providers will participate with the state in creating a shared data environment, and identifying data transmission requirements including creating a specifications document. The deliverable for this will be a report that shows the results of the provider scan phase II, and an initial draft of a specifications document. The next step is to develop the interface specifications and begin working with providers to transfer the data from remote provider locations to AMH central. This will include a draft project plan. Also included is the specifications document and the EHR data transfer standards to be used. 2. Create the enhanced data collection data dictionary. This includes identifying the federally required data items, as well as the status data and encounter data. There is also some data required as part of the financial requirement review. The deliverable for this will be a report that shows the complete data dictionary including field names, code and reference values. The next step will be to get sign off of this dictionary and begin making changes to OWITS, the Interface and MDE specifications to adjust for those changes. This will include a draft project plan. 3. Assisting providers with their data submission is also part of this effort. This includes helping providers create the file extract, determining the best way to get that data to Department, and they making sure the data meets the pre-identified requirements.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
