This individual will be responsible for analyzing, understanding and testing all system inputs and outputs, interfaces, and data components. He/she will be expected to introduce and implement automation testing concepts in the project to enable rapid delivery. Candidate must be familiar with Mainframe IMS & DB2 and DB2 UDB (columnar) environments. Candidate must also be able to work independently and interact with a team comprising of the PM, Business Systems Analyst, Data Architect, Data Modeler, ETL developer and a DB2 UDB DBA. The project execution will follow a hybrid Scrum model and so, knowledge of the Agile Scrum methodology is a must. Experience of working in Scrum projects is a plus. Responsibilities Will be responsible to set up and and implement automation testing practice in project independently Write test plans, scripts and scenarios using QA best practices. Build and update automated release regression test scripts Produce test and defect summary reports Verify and validate ETL changes and produce test automation scripts Analyze Data Warehouse data to find data anomalies Verify and validate data extracts as per business requirements Utilize Scrum task and bug tracking tools as identified by project manager Verify that implemented defect changes have been made successfully. Monitor and reporting success/failure of changes Monitor project lifecycles, including the viability of release Work across functional groups involved in the releases Provide maintenance and administration functions for test environments Champion automation testing practices across client teams, as and when required Job Requirements 8+ years of software testing and QA experience in automation testing Substantial experience with Data Warehouse testing/QA Strong fundamental knowledge of Data Warehouse (tables, primary and foreign keys, indexes, partitions, views, referential integrity, functions, triggers, stored procedures and packages) Hands on test experience with DB2 SQL, ETL, Data Model and Data Warehouse Advanced SQL skills a plus Experience with Scrum methodology Strong analytical problem solving skills, good verbal and communication skills Proven ability to adhere to established release management processes   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
