The client is seeking a Business Analyst with experience with HP PPM tool and its business use and applications. The position offers a flexible schedule and work from a home office if required. Responsibilities: · Provides consulting to businesses, functions, and geographies that utilize IT services and drives effective business engagement for IT. · Understands the specific goals and needs of the business, function, or geography and represents those needs to the IT organization. · Develops and maintains relationships with appropriate members of the business/function/geography organization. · Works to align business, function, and geography requirements with IT plans and priorities. · Support requirements gathering, explaining business use and application and give presentations and demonstrations. · Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and become regarded as a PPM subject matter expert. · Frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods. · Work on complex problems / projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors and exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined PPM policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Knowledge and Skills Required: · 4+ years of business use knowledge and experience in HP PPM · Demonstrated success in requirements elicitation, interviewing, and workshop facilitation · Demonstrated experience in decomposing high level information into details and preparing detailed requirement specifications · Skills in documenting business requirements for a HP PPM environment or other project management type environment · Ability to create business use cases and business process models · Solid business understanding of HP PPM Project Management Module, Portfolio Management Module, Resource Management Module, Time Management Module, Financial Management, Deployment Management and the Demand Management Module · Configuration understanding of HP PPM Request Types and Workflows · Work experience with project management methodologies and MS Project Scheduling · Demonstrated success in large projects with Fortune 500 and/or State and Local customers · Proven skills in developing structured technical and user level documentation and training materials ·Excellent customer communication and presentation skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
