Client is seeking a .net programmer to provide analysis, design, coding, testing, in support of applications development.

Complete Description :

Role Description :
AHTD is seeking to augment its current staff supporting the development of a new .net application to automate business rules and the approval process. The application will be developed using ASP.net, C#, and possibly Windows Workflow. The team will include AHTD employees and contractors.

Required Skills :
* .NET Development
* .NET Framework V 2.0 or higher
* C#
* SQL Server 2008 R2 or 2005

Desired Skills :
* Windows Workflow
* Sharepoint 2007 or 2010

Additional Requirements :
* Develop application designs in support of the systems specifications and interfaces, perhaps in conjunction with application or technical architects.
* Execution of all responsibilities with little direct supervision of Team Lead.
Code enhancement and development programs and/or required fixes to problems using the functional and technical programming standards.
* Testing development and enhancements.
Participate in structured code reviews / walkthroughs.
* Create and provide content for operational documentation.
* Utilize configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application.
* Research problems before approaching the Team Lead or Functional Architect for assistance.
* Follow quality standards.
* Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Identify and track issues, risks and action items.
* Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
* Ability to work in a team environment
Complete assigned tasks.
* Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
* Generally aware of new developments in industry and has ability to apply them to work as appropriate.

Qualification :
4 year college degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience :
5 plus years of .Net application design & development
