Job Description Specialist: Data Warehouse Design, Data Warehouse Implementation, Data Analysis, BI DB2UDB SQL Server 20052008

Description:

The Data Warehouse Specialist will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing data warehouse and relational database applications also to include business intelligence development and administration.

* Interviews customer and gathers requirements
* Provides Data profiling, data cleansing, data validation, data standardization, data transformation
* Provides systems analysis, data analysis and proposes appropriate solutions
* Develop scripts and/or applications to integrate components needed for a complete solution
* Provides knowledge transfer and technical support to other programming team members
* Prepare, analyze, and design system requirements throughout the data warehouse implementation
* Identify data sources and determine common data definitions across user groups
* Perform design and implementation of data warehouse schema and cubes
* Review data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy
* Perform database design, database architecture, and metadata creation
* Provide technical consulting to users of the data warehouse and advises users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage
* Monitor usage of warehouse to identify potential capacity overloads
* Develop advanced reporting
* Other duties as assigned
