JOB POSTING: Information Security Engineer 5 Job Description: This position will perform Engineering work, provide Technical Support for Cloud Encryption technologies, and setup and test back-end infrastructure for the Information Protection Technologies Evaluation and Certification Engineering team. The selected candidate will research encryption technologies as they apply to use in public clouds, and develop documentation that will contribute to the banks public cloud cryptographic standards. She/he will perform hands on engineering, testing and technical support for the evaluation/selection and implementation of Cloud encryption technologies specific to various public cloud platforms. She/he will participate in interactions with encryption technology vendors towards ensuring that vendor product engineering is in line with the policies and security requirements of Wells Fargo, and coordinate with the vendor support team to ensure issues impacting Wells Fargo are resolved quickly and effectively. She/he will participate in interactions with technical, engineering and non-technical partners across the Enterprise for the implementation of encryption technologies in public clouds and SaaS applications. She/he may be called upon for after-hours support on a rotation basis with other team members. Required Skill Set/Experience: 5+ years of Red Hat Linux (or Amazon Linux, or other leading Linux distributions) or UNIX experience 5+ years of Windows Server experience 5+ years of technical troubleshooting experience Experience with engineering/support of private or public Cloud technology, specifically Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure Experience with supporting, or strong conceptual understanding of, data encryption technologies and/or infrastructure Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities Must be organized and have rigorous attention to detail Proven written and verbal communication skills with both business/management and technical/engineering resources. Must have experience with, and be willing to produce, high quality documentation to describe technical solutions and infrastructures being implemented. Ability to work effectively under aggressive timelines with minimal supervision Good understanding of application dependency on infrastructural components and services such as load balancers, LDAP, DNS, Email, server virtualization, containers etc. Skills that would be a Plus: Good knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and encryption key life cycle management Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server, with specific experience supporting encryption technology, and encryption key management. Familiarity with Java, Python, C#, API Calls Knowledge of and experience with Reverse Proxy and Process Automation Experience with any cloud platform, including applications utilizing cloud services: AWS, Azure, Google, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, Dropbox etc. High level of competence with Microsoft Visio Position will be located in Minneapolis, MN, Chandler AZ or Charlotte, NC ONLY and the MAX BILL RATE is $85.50/hr.
