Job Duties: • Working closely with onsite / offshore teams and customer business owners / users to develop functional specifications with minimal / no supervision • Be the interface between information technology and business functions. • Understand, analyze, and document client business requirements • Planning and facilitating workshops and end-user working sessions intended to capture requirements and validate design • Assist in recommending, designing, testing, and implementing systems upgrades and improvements. • Other responsibilities include: acting as the key point of contact for understanding/researching functionality and helping users; writing, updating and reviewing detailed system documentation; and monitoring job logs of critical system functions. • Publish communication related to the deployment of new functionality • Translate user requirements into user requests and functional specification • Develop training and change programs to support project • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs • Comply with companys Global IT Policies & Procedures • Participate in requirements definition, analysis and the design of logical and physical data models. • Leading data discovery discussions with Business in JAD sessions and map the business requirements to logical and physical data modeling solutions. • Conduct data model reviews with project team members • Capture technical metadata through data modeling tools • Ensure database designs efficiently support BI and end user requirements • Drive continual improvement and enhancement of existing systems. • Collaborate with ETL/Data Engineering teams to create data process pipelines for data ingestion and transformation. • Collaborate with Data Architects for data model management, documentation, and version control. • Maintain expertise and proficiency in the various application areas • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and standards • Strong Conceptual, Logical and Physical data modeling for VLDB Data warehouse • Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science or information systems (or equivalent experience) Basic Qualifications: • Minimum of 5+ years experience in Oracle Database (11g or above), Hands experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL • Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience in ETL tool Informatica and Spark (Python or Scala) or other industry leading tools • Exposure to AWS Cloud technologies, mainly on the services of VPC, EC2, S3, DMS and Glue.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
