The job requires a self-motivated, highly organized, fast-learning, multi-tasking and flexible individual because responsibilities will range from tactical business analyst work (including business requirements gathering with business clients, writing documentation, change management managing the migration schedule and status reporting), to technical system analyst work (including running migration tools, writing SQL queries, and error troubleshooting and resolution). Prior experience with data/document migrations and strong communication skills is required. Experience with Amgen (or in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry) and/or the content migration tool called Buldoser (Crown Partners) a plus. Specifically, this person will be involved in a multi-phased migration project moving content from document management systems/repositories at an external business unit integration project to other document management systems and helping document the end-to-end processes. Responsibilities may include: Writing or revising process documentation Close engagement with project team and service owners Providing project task status to PM and project team Communication Planning and Change Management (Service Now) Performing all migration process steps for multiple waves of migrations including: 1. Eliciting and documenting migration requirements from the business client and project team members 2. Facilitating working sessions and tracking follow up notes and action items 3. Preliminary Scoping: analyze source documents; determine volume, complexity, redundancy, available meta-data, rules, patterns. Analyze Target system readiness. Develop document migration approach 4. Migration prep: Work with SME to provide document mapping. Identify missing meta data. Define verification approach and success criteria. Update migration deliverables. Evaluate and develop test bed. 5. Migration Testing; Obtain missing metadata. Evaluate test runs with business. Adjust mapping as needed. Update migration deliverables. Ensure lock down and transition. Conduct user acceptance testing sessions 6. Migration Execution: Evaluate migration results. Test and ensure lock down of legacy documents. Document QC and Approvals via migration deliverables. Identify any data fix, rework, or enhancements resulting from migration. 7.
