Handles and leads the most complex or critical data/ database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modeling. As the recognized technical expert, consults extensively with multiple client groups to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise-level data/ database architecture and management strategies. Serves as a consultant on technological advancements. Provides oversight, mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff. May represent the organization as an external spokesperson.: 10+ years database design and administration experience This position involves design and development of the ETL jobs and processes to support the business requirements for Data Warehouse. 8+ years of experience as an Informatica ETL developer, 5+ years of Oracle and 3+ years of Unix skills are required. Metadata management and data integrity skills will be an added benefit. General Duties/responsibilities: " Creates prototypes/ETL specifications based on requirements and analysis of data " Designs and develops ETL mappings and workflows/sessions " Creates scripts for Oracle database tables and unit tests them " Creates/modifies UNIX scripts " Ensures adherence to locally defined standards for all developed components " Supports the development and design of the internal data integration framework " Performs unit tests and QA tests with test data " Provides input in DI design of new Data Warehouse projects " Actively involved in design and development reviews " Works with source system owners to resolve source data issues and refine transformation rules " Support on-call production duties Other Requirements: " Preferred Location is Irvine, CA " Informatica Certification preferred " Effective oral and written communication skills required " Teamwork skills required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
