Understand and factors into solutions technology, business case, organizational and industry context, strategic objectives, and portfolio management. Leads the effort of producing a technical solution. Responsible for the overall vision that underlies a technical solution and oversees the transformation of the vision into implementation. Expert in multiple technologies. Product and technology decisions must reflect a depth of experience that creates consistent and effective solution patterns within the enterprise. Essential Functions: ? Responsible for maintaining roadmaps for products and technologies within designated domain. ? Works within the IT organization to achieve alignment with enterprise strategies. ? Provides technical leadership and mentors staff. ? Defines technology services and promotes strategy and vision. ? Acts as visionary and strategist. ? Surveys market landscape for solution insights, direction, vendors, and methods. ? Translates system requirements into architecture design and documentation. ? Supports development and change management methodologies. ? Builds and maintains repository for architecture deliverables, solution documentation, and technical research. ? Collaborates with Project Managers and technical directors to create estimates, develop overall implementation plan, and define project strategy. ? Oversees aspects of project life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design and implementation phases for projects within solution area. ? Participates in quality assurance efforts. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: ? Knowledge of Industry Standards, services design, modeling, architecture views and designs, and benefits analysis ? Knowledge of Storage and Storage Management, Networking, Server HW, Server OS, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Virtualization and Cloud Computing. ? Ability to manage and monitor tools, asset management, service level agreements, systems design ? Ability to share and communicate ideas in clear concise language to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources ? Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Systems integration ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills ? Ability to abide by Molina?s policies ? Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work ? Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) ? Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers Required Education: Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience Required Experience: 10+ years solution architecture design. 10+ years leading development teams. Strong understanding of healthcare business processes and metrics. Healthcare regulatory requirements experience and how they apply to system solutions.
