Job Description Analyst: Oracle Data Integrator, Reverse Engineering, PL/SQL, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise

Client : California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS)

Description :

The California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) Technology Business Management Division (TBMD) has requested assistance from Contractor Name to provide the Investment Office (INVO) with one full time and one part time experienced consultant resources to be responsible for developing and supporting the INVO Enhanced Management Reporting solution, among other business intelligence solutions. The consultant(s) will assist staff in the CalPERS Business Intelligence and Reporting unit with the data architecture and modeling, data integration, report metamodeling and report/dashboard building for various business intelligence solutions, particularly the INVO Enhanced Management Reporting solution.

Requirements :

A. VENDOR
• Must have engaged in at least two (2) successful Business Intelligence and/or Analytics projects, one of which with a budget of at least $1 million
B. DATA INTEGRATOR
• Must have participated in at least two (2) successful BI and/or Analytics projects, one of which with a budget of at least $1 million
• At least five (5) years of experience in some or all areas of Pension, Health Insurance, Customer Service, Finance or Risk
• At least three (3) years of experience performing tasks pertaining to data integration (ETL) processes to transform disparate source data into the target data stores, data warehouses or data marts
• At least two (2) years of experience in data integration projects using Oracle Database 11g and Oracle Data Integrator or similar ETL tools
• At least five (5) years experience with interpreting requirements, reverse engineering Excel Pivot tables, and developing complex PL/SQL
C. REPORTING DEVELOPER
• Must have participated in at least two (2) successful Business Intelligence and/or Analytics projects, one of which with a budget of at least $1 million
• At least five (5) years of experience in some or all areas of Pension, Health Insurance, Customer Service, Finance or Risk
• At least three (3) years of experience performing tasks pertaining to Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Functional/System Administration
• At least five (5) years of experience diagnosing and resolving issues with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
• At least five (5) years of experience in developing reports using BI & Analytics tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition or IBM Cognos Studio
• At least three (3) years of experience in report meta modeling, including logically grouping business element functions in the form of conformed dimensions and hierarchies, measures, data security rules, and user-friendly attributes and data dictionary definitions
