Soarian Pharmacy and the MAK barcoded medication administration system (BCMA) will also be included, along with the Swisslog medication packaging and dispensing machines • The Sheriffs Office jail inmate management system (ATIMS) will need to provide patient location updates to the Swisslog medication packaging and dispensing system • The Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) will need to be enabled for ATIMS to avoid duplicate patients • Phase 2 of the project will include the Probation Offices Youth Services Center; the scope will be similar except there will be no Swisslog machine implement Deliverable • Planning/Kick-off: • Lead the project team under the direction of the EHR Program Director • Create a detailed project plan including the schedule, work breakdown structure and assign resources/teams • Develop project tools (status report, sharepoint, agendas, minutes/action items, issues/risk lists, decision log, SBAR) • Work collaboratively with the County ISD on technical and device workstreams • Develop, communicate and oversee the training, testing and go-live/change/downtime/support strategies • Facilitate the Project Steering Team and related activities/meetings/communications • Design/Build Phases: • Ensure adherence to implementation methodology and coordination of work between team members, third party contractors and vendors to deliver projects according to plan • Track and report project progress; capture minutes/action items and manage issues/risks • Escalate decisions/issues/risks to Project Steering Committee or EHR Program Director/Executive Steering Committee as appropriate • Work collaboratively with Information Services Department Project Manager (ISD PM) to ensure infrastructure readiness and device identification and deployment • Ensure completion of unit and system testing, including Registration, Clinical Documentation, Orders, Pharmacy, BCMA and Swisslog testing • Ensure completion of required integration with Jail management system, EMPI and Swisslog • Facilitate integrated testing event • Assist change manager with planning for training event • Integrated Testing: • Facilitate integrated testing event according to testing strategy • Lead daily testing status and issues meetings; report progress • Ensure resolution of all critical/high-level issues prior to go-live; medium/low should be worked on an ongoing basis • Complete a minimum of two rounds of integrated testing • Training: • Ensure training for approximately 170 end-users according to training strategy • Include training on change/downtime/support processes • Lead weekly training status meetings; report progress and attendance • Go-live Planning and Event: • Work with vendor to create and execute cutover plan • Communicate, train and implement go-live/command center process • Work with change manager to identify SuperUsers and floor support for go-live event; provide schedule by location • Identify, collect, track and report daily on go-live issues, management and resolution • Prepare for turnover to Support • Support: • All outstanding issues documented and transitioned to Support • Provide project cl   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
