Description: Position Details: • Provides day to day operational support for incidents and problems by troubleshooting incidents, identifying and resolving problems, designing and implementing configuration changes and monitoring performance. • Actively participates in integrated DevOps Team implementing Agile methodologies with strong change management focus. • Interest in and ability to learn new technologies and techniques. Provides technical guidance and expertise. • Depending on the area of support, works directly with third party vendors to define technical requirements and implement solutions to interface with various external systems. • Coordinate and plan monthly release packages, participate on projects and change initiatives as required. • Delivers projects and enhancements that connect key systems into our infrastructure. Required Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent work experience • 4+ years of software development experience demonstrating increasing responsibility • Strong conceptual understanding of web applications • Good knowledge in current technologies-VB.NET, web services, SSRS, SSIS, and Javascript • Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, P-SQL) • Ability to do shell scripting, Oracle SQL scripting, and Control File creation for data loads. • Experience with writing stored procedures and connections to .net. • Knowledge of .NET and SQL Server, IIS, and web development/programming. Proficiency with software development tools like the following: Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual Source Safe, Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer • Ability to support Excel Macros • Able to integrate applications with other technologies specifications as requested • Experience working directly with customers • Excellent organizational, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills. • Ability to perform successfully in a high-pressure, fast-pace working environment. • Ability to work independently with little direction. • Careful attention to detail in all aspects of the job. • Strong communications skills.
