Briefly summarize the purpose of this position. The Solution Architect - Public Health Portfolio is assigned to projects or initiatives that involve a major application, set of applications, or IT services supporting CDPHE Public Health missions and programs. The Solution Architect - Public Health Portfolio assumes a technical architecture and people leadership role, leading efforts as an expert and work lead on leveraging technology, innovation, and thought leadership to provide scalable solutions to complex and diverse business problems. Working within the Public Health portfolio and in coordination with the OIT enterprise technical roadmap, the Solution Architect - Public Health Portfolio will work to interpret business requirements into detailed specification documents and research and recommend technical solutions that can be applied to business problems; this will require collaboration with other functional groups across the State and often involves presenting to business executives.
