Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. The practical skill of integrating automated tests with various systems like version control, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools. Competency with test management tools (Zephyr Scale, GitLab, etc.) for logging bugs and tracking test progress. Knowledge of various database systems, including relational databases and NoSQL databases. Experience with specialized test data management and data governance platforms. The ability to analyze test requirements and profile existing production data. A deep understanding of core testing principles is paramount, including test case design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning), defect lifecycles, and how testing integrates into various methodologies.
