The Senior Citrix Engineer will be required to participate in the design/engineering activities of a XenApp farm, third party solutions and business initiatives that make up the CIGNAs XenApp environment. Resource tasks will include system design, engineering activities, certification and lead the implementation of XenApp solutions and business initiatives. The resources will be required to manage the engineering and implementation of XenApp projects following CIGNAs testing, certification and change management processes. Job Responsibilities Engineering CIGNAs XenApp business and infrastructure solutions will be the primary duties of this role. Document designs and configurations that will be part of the Citrix engineering teams repository Perform and document testing scenarios and results of solutions Document and gain approvals required by CIGNAs operational readiness testing process. Document procedures that will be transitioned to the help desk and Citrix support teams Skills Required . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Experience deploying and supporting large scale Citrix environments and experience with XenApp 6. Must have a solid foundation in XenApp 6 from initial requirements gathering, testing, documentation and installation through all troubleshooting aspects Experience with supporting 32 bit applications in a 64 bit environment. Good working knowledge of Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Access Gateway, Provisioning Server, Application Streaming and EdgeSight Advanced.
