SCOPE OF WORK The position is responsible for outreach for provider and partner participation and training new and existing CT WiZ users. This role may also assist with customer support/help desk staffing. This role may manage contacts for all IIS end users and partner organizations, document and/or assign identifiers for individuals, provider sites, schools, vendors, or other partners submitting or querying IIS information. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Deliver trainings to clinic users on functionality in CT WiZ using training tools developed by IIS staff. Provide help desk support using Track-It. Validate new user requests and set up permissions in CT WiZ. Assist and train providers on patient active inactive status and conduct outreach. Conduct follow up on late CT WiZ compliancy reports from providers. Provide assistance and other duties as assigned by the CT WiZ Coordinator. This position would be a Trainer level 1 as described in the State of Connecticut Contract Award 14PSX0338 and will have the required skills and experience outlined below, to work as part of the DPH Immunization Program. Required Skills/Experience Education: Bachelors degree preferred. Experience: One year of experience in the health or human service field, and/or one year of experience conducting community outreach in a multicultural setting with families and health/social service providers. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel required). Strong interpersonal, communication skills and writing skills are essential. Ability to multitask and meet monthly performance goals. 4. ADMINISTRATIVE CONSIDERATIONS Contract Timeline and Work Schedule: The contract is planned from 09/26/2019 through 9/25/2020, with the possibility for renewal of an additional three years. The consultant may work up to 35 hours per week. Work must be performed between 7:30am and 5:00pm on normal scheduled business days (Monday to Friday), excluding State holidays and furlough days.
