Description:

SCOPE OF WORK:

we are seeking aProject/ Program Manager Level 4 (Contract Agreement 14PSX0338. This PM will be experienced in Project Management, and Business Analysis. The PM should be familiar with technology project methodologies, while providing enterprise coordination across multiple state agencies and project resources.


Project Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans on designated projects within the M365 Program
• Manage all activities required for designated projects within the M365 Program
• Develop communication, testing, and training plans as needed
• Communicate and coordinate all project deliverables with stakeholders
• Manage issue and risk logs
• Coordinate the resolution of all in scope testing issues
• Utilize enterprise Team site for sharing documentation
• Escalate enterprise level configuration issues based on agency requests
• Other related duties

Responsible to provide knowledge transfer to designated state personnel:

• Consultant will schedule Knowledge Transfer Sessions based on engagement (weekly).
• All developed project documentation (Business Requirements, Project Plan, Issues/Risks, Decisions Made Logs etc.) will be reviewed, discussed and updated with state personnel (weekly)
• Weekly status will include Knowledge Transfer items for the week completed and items for the upcoming week.
• Provide summary of the Knowledge Transfer throughout the life cycle of the project at the completion of the project.


Required Skills/Experience:

Proposed candidate should have a minimum nine (9) years of Project Management experience, including:

• Experience with O365 implementation projects
• Extensive experience in project planning & initiation, team management, technical & vendor coordination and implementation of large scale, complex, multi-user distributed Web apps;
• Must have experience in executing the projects using project management and full systems development methodologies and best practices;
• Must have experience in developing and maintaining project profiles, project management plan, project plan & WBS, solution alternatives, cost benefit, and risk analysis;
• Must have experience in developing requirements; business process model; gap analysis, test strategy & plans, cost benefit and risk analysis;
• Experience with change management activities, working collaboratively with business and technology owners, subject matter experts, software vendors, and end users;
• Experience managing data migration activities including development of data mapping and conversion strategy;
• Experience managing project resources, budgeting and financial reporting;
• Proficient in project management and MS Office tools, such as, MS-Project, MS-Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word;
• Proven leadership skills with excellent multi-tasking, organizational, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills are critical;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities;
• Advanced understanding of the State of Connecticut licensing processes
• Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies
