In order to show progress and visibility, the CJIS team needs a CJIS Java Developer/Tester to ensure the following work is performed: Specific Services Required * Create, update and maintain automated regression suite using IBM Jazz Rational Functional Tester. * Mentor/Train Test team members to execute automated scripts in RFT. * Assist if needed in creating test plans, use cases, doing the testing, creating the testing results reports, and implementing the testing needed by the project managers. * Providing documented processes to the testing team in the implementation of the required testing. * Supporting the resolution of defects found during testing and providing general testing process consultation to the project team. * Developing presentations for stakeholders, officials, and other interested parties when requested by the Executive Director or Technical Lead. * Reporting test results, documenting reported defects to test lead. Entering the defects in defect management tool. Ability to validate Traceability Matrix to contractual requirements. * Creating test data for all levels of testing. * Participating in Technical Review Board (TRB) design reviews. Required Skills/Experience The candidate must have the following skills or experience: * Three to Four years of Java development experience. * Strong knowledge of IBM Rational Jazz Suite, especially Jazz Rational Functional Tester in creating automated regression test scripts. * Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology, 5 years minimum experience programming in a 3rd generation languages and knowledge of software design patterns. * Minimum five year experience working on IT automation projects. * An ability to understand the complexity of a large integrated system and to trace problems to their source. * Demonstrate ability to build XML schemas * Experience in NIEM XML or other complex XML Standard is a plus * Experience with SOA technologies * Experience in Database Development (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, ad-hoc queries) including MS-SQL TRANSAC-SQL (2005 and above), * Proficient in MS Excel * Work cooperatively with other Team Members including Team-Leader/Manager, Developers, Testers, Designers and others.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
